The North Capixaba Law Congress takes place in November with relevant panels on family, criminal, and social security law. The third edition of the OAB-ES event will also feature discussions on bankruptcy law, cooperativism, and the role of law in a polarized world.

OAB-ES will hold the third edition of the North Capixaba Law Congress on November 7th, from 8:30 am to 6 pm. The event will take place in the auditorium of the SESC Convention Center in São Mateus.

The first lecture will be given by Judge Alexandre Puppim of the TJ-ES, elected to the legal profession's spot in the most recent Fifth Constitutional. He will speak on "The Company and the New Brazilian Bankruptcy Law." Subsequently, lawyer Kamille Barros, a specialist in Social Security Law, will present reflections on "How to Scale a Digital Social Security Office from Scratch."

At 11:30 am, the "OCB PANEL - Cooperativism and Regional Development: Legal Certainty, Constitutional Perspective, and the Role of Advocacy" will take place, with Eduardo Induzzi. A lawyer, he is Legal Advisor and Institutional Relations at the OCB/ES System and President of the OAB-ES Cooperative Law Commission.

The Congress will also host the federal counselor of OAB-ES, Flavio Cheim Jorge. His lecture will address "Brazilian Appeals System." At 2:40 pm, Judge Raphael Camâra of the TJ-ES, also elected to the legal profession's spot in the Fifth Constitutional, will prepare a special presentation on the theme "The Lawyer as a Bridge Builder: Leadership and Dialogue in a Polarized Society."

The afternoon will proceed with a panel on Family Law. Participants include Flávia Brandão, a practicing lawyer specializing in family and succession law. She is a member of the National Commission of Family Law of CFOAB and IBDFAM. Alongside her will be Barbara Nespoli, a lawyer, specialist in Family and Succession Law, and vice-president of the Family Law Commission of OAB-ES. The topics will include plural family and multi-parentage.

Finally, Florence Rosa, a criminal lawyer, professor of Criminal Procedure at UCAM and CERS, and Jury Court at the Academia Criminal, will discuss questioning in Criminal Procedure.

"Holding another edition of the Congress in the North is to decentralize good information and opportunities from Greater Vitória, valuing and reaching out to lawyers who work in other regions of the State. This is one of the roles of the Sectional," says the president of OAB-ES, Érica Neves.
