Conceived in 2017 by the great specialist and professional in the Port sector, the Master in Port Management Mr. Enildo Moreira Ferreira, the event has always sought to promote dialogue and debate among companies, government, and other entities on critical and necessary issues within the Port sector, drawing parallels between good international practices in Port Management and the Brazilian scenario.
Over the last two editions (2017-2023), all events were held in Espírito Santo by decision of its creators and organizers (ICPEC), and the choice is due to the fact that the state has a historical relationship with the Port sector. It is worth noting that the port complexes of ES make the state stand out both nationally and internationally, being one of the largest port complexes in South America, hence the importance of holding the event here in our state.
From this choice, the event became the first International event in the Port sector, with continuity in the State of Espírito Santo, making the International Ports Conference genuinely Capixaba.
