The 2nd International Conference on Ports has as its theme "Good Governance Practices in the Port Sector," chosen due to recent movements adopted by organizations in the search and adoption of good management practices. A large part of this search was motivated by the need to reduce corporate risks, by the need to adopt policies aimed at greater social and environmental responsibility, and, evidently, to generate growth in business valuation. 

This event is organized by the Instituto Conhecer pela Educação e Cultura – ICPEC and with the organization of Vila Produções. The event has the sponsorship and/or support of companies linked to the port sector, authorities from the sector, and the participation of professionals, entities, associations, unions, federations, and other stakeholders who act directly or indirectly with the Port sector.
